Re: Changing DB platform while migration
Not automatically. We do not provide any tools to do DB migration from one type to another. But if you know how to convert an Oracle database to [say] MySQL, you may do that on your own. I must warn you that even third party tools may have issues in the conversion of a database platform so you must ...

Re: Changing the warehouse location during the migration
Dear Ms. Harris, Even though we do not recommend changing deployment models during a migration, it is possible to switch out the warehouse location during a migration. When you move everything across to a new server and also move the warehouse to a different path, inforouter cannot possibly know whe...

Re: Multiple LDAP Servers
I say we give Ajay a break and respond here, we can move the whole post to where it belongs later! Yes. It is possible to authenticate against more than one LDAP server. All you have to do is define where these servers are. This is done in the infoRouter web.config file. You can find out more about ...

Re: OCR in Scan Station

There are good ones out there but they are either too expensive or they have stringent distribution rules that prevent us from deploying it as a pa...

Re: Meta Data
You have come to the right place. Only the System Administrator and Library managers can create "Custom Property Set" definitions. This can be done through the infoRouter Control Panel. Re: My own menus in inforouter

Re: Deleting documents
Easy! The Library Policies can be used to alter permissions for the entire library.
Using the Library Policies, you can disallow "Delete" for all types of users and permission levels.

Re: Outlook Emails and Attachments
It is possible to send some or all of the attachments. Some organizations would like to preserve the email as it was originally sent. So we chose (by default) allow only sending emails to inforouter with all attachments intact. We did however make this an application setting. Please consult with you...
