Yes. We do plan on building this feature into one of the upcoming releases. There is no definitive date but it should be in there before the year is out (2009).

Yes. Use the zip upload feature with multiple zipped documents. Some or all the documents may be checked out.
When uploaded, inforouter will compare the documents and determine if they have been changed and if so, the documents will be checked in and the new versions will be created.

When you download documents from inforouter and you create a new version by checking it in, inforouter will leave the local copy on your workstation. There are multiple ways to post documents into inforouter folders. Individual security assignments have priority over group permissions.

Example:
Joe is a member of a user group called User Group A
The user group has been assigned "Read" rights

The user Joe has been assigned "Change" rights.

Joe will have "Change" rights.
