I have OCR data along with scanned images. I would like to move both information into inforouter but only the scanned image goes in. No OCR data is carried over.

Both Scan Station and the Hotfolders tools are capable of importing OCR data. The OCR data however needs to be in one of the formats we support.
Most Scanning tools with OCR capability allow users to format the output of the OCR data (or sometimes called the "index"). If your tool does not support this, you can contact us for assistance.

The client processes 1000 invoices per day and they use OCR Scanner to scan into digital format. The invoice has barcode to identify it (require to read this barcode and add as meta data for indexing. How could we automate this process by inforouter?

Since it may have barcode wrongly read by the OCR, how can the other user read the barcode again and update the meta data automatically. e.g. Laserfiche provide a OCR or barcode reading function for the user to update the meta data

Hello,

Barcode recognition and OCR is a function of the scanner equipment. There are many different scanners and third party OCR tools that can generate this information.
We do not resell any of these scanners or the software however we interface into the output of these tools.
KyoCapture (by Kyocera) is one of these tools that create an output we can recognize. There are other formats we support and we can provide support for other formats if you need it.

Using either the Hot Folders Tool or the Scan Station module, you can pull these invoices into infoRouter. The OCR and barcode information handled by the third-party tool can also be pulled in and associated with the document. The Scan Station tool allows an operator to edit this information during the import process.

Please take a look at these documents that explains the process in a little more detail:
