Automatic LDAP Authentication

Automatic LDAP Authentication
Is it possible to automatically recognize the domain user so the user doesn't have to click on Member Login each time they access this site?

Re: Automatic LDAP Authentication
What you are referring to is "NT Challenge Response" and we do not support that method for several reasons.
infoRouter can work mixed security mode which means that you can authenticate users from both LDAP and the built-in security system.
If we set it up to work with this method, the assumption has to be that anyone with an NT account has access to infoRouter. This may not be the case.
Most of our customers expose a part of infoRouter to the outside world (customers, vendors, remote users etc.) who are not LDAP authenticated users.
Also, the behavior you are looking for is only supported by Internet Explorer. When working in this mode, Firefox puts up a basis authentication dialog. So it is not a feature supported consistentşy by all browsers.
I hope this helps.
