Hello Support Staff,

When we requested a new trial license to try and upgrade our test server, the same error shows that the trial license can't be used to upgrade from 7.5 to 8.0

Is it ok if we copy our production license over to the test server and try an upgrade in the test server?

Yes. It is ok to use your existing key when testing the upgrade.
