Overdue task due to weekends

during the workflow assignments I notice when the task is assigned and I provide my staff with 3 days to complete, if the task is assigned on Friday. It will show the task to be overdue by Monday. Is there any way in the system to let it know not count the weekends?

Good point.

This issue has come up before and we have it on our list of new features.
The spec we have calls for a weekday/business days calculation.

Current estimation for the delivery of this end of November 2015.
We will announce the availability of this feature when we have it.
