Re: Inforouter Live Update
Hello,
This issue seems to be related with upgrading requirements.
Please make sure about following these steps:
Login as administrator to the server
Backup your existing database before the upgrade
For 64 bit systems 64 bit IIS configuration is required for Oracle
ORACLE CLIENT AND CONNECTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
"odp.net20" need to be installed on the server.
This software is the part of the oracle data access components that can be found in XCopy deployment of the Oracle data access component version 11.2.0.3.0.
Here is the download links. (~55 mb, requires OTN membership)
X86
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/datab ... 01290.html
x64
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/datab ... 90165.html
Client install instructions
Extract the zip package
Run "install.bat" with parameters like the example below using command line utility.
This sample installs ODP.NET 2 and its dependent components.
install.bat odp.net2 c:\oracle myhome true
NOTE :
For the higher database performance, indexes might be reconfigured with the parameters 'NLS_SORT=BINARY_CI'
Sample : index <index_name> on <table_name> (NLSSORT(<column_name>, 'NLS_SORT=BINARY_CI'));
Hope this will help,
The Guru
