Multiple Login Prompts When Trying To Open A File From The InfoRouter via document ULR From Windows 7 Environment
Getting reports from users about multiple login prompts when trying to open a file from the InfoRouter via document ULR from windows 7 environment.
The issue seems to be sporadic at best but if you already have multiple windows open already in IE, this tends to happen more frequently. A lot of folks have either been upgraded to windows 7 or running freshly new installs of windows 7. So even if users have their credentials saved, the login prompt will pop up 3 to 4 times or even when selecting cancel 3 to 4 times but then the file will open after that.
Have you heard of issues like this in windows 7?
Is there a setting in the IE that needs to be modified to prevent this?
Thanks.

Re: Multiple Login Prompts
Hello,
This problem has nothing to do with the infoRouter application. You should follow the instructions on Microsoft's support page to resolve this issue.
• Please make sure that the URL is in your IE Local Intranet zone, access the infoRouter via the computer name instead of localhost
• Make sure that your workstation is on the same domain with the infoRouter server.
• Please try to add the infoRouter site as a Trusted Zone in IE and change the settings for trusted zone to be at the custom level of Medium-Low (instead of default setting of medium)
