Cannot Send Email from Inforouter Since Upgrade

Since upgrading to Inforouter 8.0, we cannot send email from the application. Email generated from a command prompt on the server to the same mail handler, using the same source and destination email addresses as configured in Inforouter, are received without incident.

Any suggestions?

Hello Barry,

The upgrade should not have anything to do with your email issues. We will check into this and prevent it if this is indeed the case.
In the meantime, here are a few valuable documents to look at to get around all possible email problems.

For general SMTP troubleshooting, this document should be reviewed:

If you are using a Windows 2008 Server, this document may be more appropriate:

If you are using a Windows 2003 Server, this document may be more appropriate:

If you are using a remote SMTP server, please take a look at this document:
