Inforouter Forms Templates used from a portal

Post by haloway13 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 12:01 pm

How do I use a document template from a portal?

I seem to be able to create the gadget, form, etc. But it shows up as an empty box. Please see attached image.

The use case is something like this: a user fills in the form within a specific portal and a file is created in a specific library.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. There must be something simple I am missing.

Thank you,
Tim Hall

Hello Tim,

Please make sure that have your templates created before you create the gadget.
If you have not yet created any templates, please take a look at this document:
https://www.inforouter.com/Downloads/V8 ... de-V80.pdf

Now that you have created the template(s) go into the gadget properties to point to the appropriate template you have previously created.

I hope this helps.

Turns out that the link title field can be left blank and therefore nothing to click to get you to the form.

Is there a way to make link title mandatory when a doctemplate gadget type is selected?

Thank you,
Tim
