Hello,

Even though we can text search Word documents, we still cannot text search PDFs after installing iFilter per the instructions provided.

And even for the Word documents, while it returns a result, it still says no abstract available for the pdf documents when clicking the show button.

Please help.

After adding iFilters, doing a re-scan will NOT work. You must rebuild the index server catalog. If you don't, you may not be able to find the details of some documents.
